Sales Managers organize, teach, and lead the Sales team to work towards agreed targets. Duties include providing guidance, training, mentorship, creating a sales plan, and setting sales goals and quotas.
· Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products and services.
· Resolve Customer complaints regarding sales and service.
· Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
· Supervise sales staff.
· Determine price rates.
· Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.
· Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
· Direct, coordinate, and review sales accounting and record-keeping, as well as receiving and shipping.
· Consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on customer specifications.
· Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
· Advise customers on technical or procedural issues.
· Analyze reports to determine state of operations.
· Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
· Make data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation.
· Develop and maintain relationships with key clients.
· Set sales quotas and goals.
· Oversee and direct performance of the sales team.
· Identify emerging markets to find new sales opportunities.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & TRAINING
· Aviation industry experience preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience as Sales Manager.
· 5 years Sales experience
· Persuasion, active listening and speaking skills required.
· Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively.
· Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
· Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
· Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy.
· Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives.
· Planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
